Lip Enhancements

From £90

One of the most popular of all aesthetic treatments! Lip filler can add volume and shape to your lips and correct symmetry.

Dermal Fillers are Hyaluronic Acid based which is a substance that is naturally occurring in the human body. Providing the treatment is being performed by a fully qualified professional with a great understanding of facial anatomy, it’s a relatively safe treatment that gives lots of people a great confidence boost!

Lorena is highly skilled in different filler techniques to ensure she achieves the desired effect!

Before Procedure

You will come in for a consultation with Lorena who will discuss whether you qualify for the treatment.

She will then apply a numbing cream to the treated area and leave it on for 15 minutes.

Prior to Treatment:

  • Avoid Alcohol at least 24 hours (Alcohol may thin the blood, therefore aiding swelling and bruising)

  • Avoid Blood thinning medicine such as Aspirin & Ibuprofen for 1 week prior to treatment

  • Avoid Caffeine 24 hours prior to treatment

If you are concerned about swelling or bruising, it is advisable to take Arnica 2-3 days prior to appointment

During Procedure

Lorena will use the correct filler technique to achieve the desired results.

During the treatment, you may experience mild discomfort. This varies between clients as some are simply more sensitive but we use a topical numbing cream before every treatment, this numbs the skin surface before we start. The Dermal Filler that we use also contains lidocaine which is a pain relief ingredient. This keeps clients a lot more comfortable during the procedure.

After Procedure

The lips will swell after the procedure. The upper lip will usually swell more than the lower lip. Sometimes one side more than the other other, so don’t be alarmed. The swelling is most noticeable for the first 24-72 hrs then gradually subsides.

The majority of the swelling will be gone by day 3, but please allow up to 14 days for full swelling and bruising to go down.

Aftercare tips include:

  • Use ice on the lips to help reduce swelling, especially in the first 12 hrs after the procedure.

  • Avoid heavy exercise for 24 hours.

  • Avoid wearing makeup for 4 hours after procedure.

  • Avoid Alcohol
