Cheek/Chin/Jawline Contouring
45 mins
From £100
Facial contouring with dermal filler is a great way to really enhance your natural features and address a lack of symmetry.
You can add volume and shape to your jawline and/or chin. This will often lift and tighten the under chin area too which is a great bonus! Maybe you’ve lost some volume due to aging or maybe you’d just prefer the look of higher, more defined cheekbones?!
When performed by a fully qualified professional with a great understanding of facial anatomy, it’s a relatively safe treatment that gives lots of people a great confidence boost!
Before Procedure
You will come in for a consultation with Lorena who will discuss whether you qualify for the treatment.
She will then apply a numbing cream to the treated area and leave it on for 15 minutes.
Prior to Treatment:
-
Avoid Alcohol at least 24 hours (Alcohol may thin the blood, therefore aiding swelling and bruising)
-
Avoid Blood thinning medicine such as Aspirin & Ibuprofen for 1 week prior to treatment
-
Avoid Caffeine 24 hours prior to treatment
If you are concerned about swelling or bruising, it is advisable to take Arnica 2-3 days prior to appointment
During Procedure
During the treatment, you may experience some discomfort. This varies between clients as some are simply more sensitive but we use a topical numbing cream before every treatment, this numbs the skin surface before we start. The Dermal Filler that we use also contains lidocaine which is a pain relief ingredient.
This keeps clients a lot more comfortable during the procedure and its very rare that anyone has a problem with the pain.

Depending on your consultation different filler techniques maybe used to achieve the desired results.
After Procedure
There is no recovery time with dermal fillers, so you can immediately resume normal daily activities. Patients should avoid wearing makeup, excessive alcohol, exercise or sun for the first 24 hours.
The dermal fillers can last from three to six months in this area but it varies between clients depending on lifestyle and metabolism etc.
